Why Campaigns Fail Elsewhere

Most Businesses That Come to Us Have Tried SEO Before

The problem was rarely the channel. / It was how the campaign was run. Four rules fix that.
RULE 01

Transparency over activity

The report said ‘optimized 40 pages.’ Optimized how? For what?

You will always know which keywords were chosen, why the strategy shifted, and what the next 90 days are built to do. We send the reason, not just the PDF.

RULE 02

Revenue over traffic

Traffic doubled. Sales did not move an inch.

Visitor counts mean nothing if the pipeline stays quiet. We go after the visitors who buy, and we tie the strategy to your revenue targets, not your ranking targets.

RULE 03

Intent over volume

We hit number one. It did not bring us a single order.

A store ranking for “buy ergonomic office chair” takes orders. Ranking for “are office chairs bad for posture” takes readers. We pick the first kind, every time.

RULE 04

Strategy over templates

My competitor got the same report. Different logo.

An online store and a SaaS platform do not rank the same way. Google scores authority differently in every market. Your campaign is built around how yours works, from scratch.

What We Actually Do

Eight Disciplines. One Strategy. Zero Operational Headaches.

Managed SEO works when the execution is consistent and repeatable. This is the concrete work behind your campaign, all of it handled by one team.

SEO Audit & Research

Your site, your competitors, and your market analyzed before a single recommendation is made.

Keyword Strategy & Tracking

Keywords selected on purchase probability, not search volume. Tracked constantly, reported monthly, shared whenever you ask.

On-Page Optimization

Every page mapped to one keyword with buying intent. Titles, headers, and content depth aligned to rank.

Technical SEO & Core Web Vitals

A site Google cannot crawl cannot rank. Speed, mobile usability, structured data, and indexation fixed and maintained.

Content Creation & Optimization

Content written for what your buyers search, structured to rank, and built to convert the visitor who lands on it.

Link Building & Authority Growth

Backlinks earned through direct editorial outreach on niche-relevant sites. No directories. No bulk networks.

Google Business Profile, If Applicable

For businesses with physical locations: GBP setup, citations, and map visibility managed inside the same campaign.

Performance Reporting & Analytics

A monthly report covering rankings, traffic, conversions, and every change made during the month, with the reason behind it.

This is full-service SEO: every discipline that decides your rankings, managed end to end under one strategy and one point of accountability. No juggling a technical freelancer, a content writer, and a link vendor who have never spoken to each other. See how it runs ↓
How It Works

Simple Process, Powerful Results

From onboarding to ongoing optimization, we handle everything. Six investigations shape the strategy before serious money goes into execution.

1

Audience Research

We study how your customers search: what they type, what they mean, and what they do right before they buy. Every keyword and content decision in your campaign comes from this.

Search intent analysisBuyer journey mappingMarket-specific audience insights
2

Competitor Analysis

We take apart the sites ranking above you to find what they have built that you have not: content depth, backlink sources, keyword coverage. Then we plan how to close each gap.

3

Keyword Gap Audit

We find the high-value keywords your competitors rank for and you do not. Those become the first targets, because the demand is already proven.

Keyword overlap analysisPriority mapping by purchase intentOpportunity scoring
4

Content Gap Audit

We compare your content against what currently ranks to find missing topics, thin pages, and optimization gaps that are costing you positions.

5

Backlink Analysis

We review your backlink profile for toxic links dragging you down and for real opportunities to build the kind of authority Google rewards.

6

Technical SEO Fixes

We fix what stops your site from ranking no matter how good the content is: page speed, mobile usability, crawlability, indexation errors, and structured data.

Your First 90 Days

What Happens After You Say Go

SEO goes wrong when everything is attempted in week one. Here is the order we work in, and why it is the order that pays.

Days 1-30

Diagnose & Repair

  • The full audit that opens every plan: technical, content, competitors
  • Priority technical fixes shipped, worst offenders first
  • Keywords finalized with you, scored on purchase intent
  • Quick-win optimization on the pages that make you money
Days 31-60

Build the Content Engine

  • Topical authority mapping: the topics your market expects you to own
  • Pillar-cluster architecture planned around buyer searches
  • First content published and indexed, thin pages deepened
  • On-page work continues across your core pages
Days 61-90

Build Authority

  • Editorial backlinks pointed at the pages that matter most
  • Early ranking movers reinforced with supporting content
  • First milestone review: what moved, what caused it, what is next
  • Strategy adjusted on real ranking data, not the original guess
Month 4 Onward

Compound

  • Each month’s roadmap reset around what moves rankings next
  • Winning clusters expanded, underperformers diagnosed and revised
  • Authority building sustained at the pace your niche demands
  • Scope grows into new keywords and markets as results land

Why Visual2Action

Why Businesses and Brands Choose Visual2Action

These are the parts of how we work that clients bring up when they refer us. Judge them against any agency you have used.

Senior Specialists, Direct Line

An experienced SEO strategist leads your campaign and stays reachable. When a decision needs a specialist, you talk to the specialist, not a go-between.

A Manager Who Answers

Your dedicated account manager handles the day to day. Need a ranking check or a progress update in the middle of the month? Ask, and you get it.

No Lock-In Contracts

We do not ask for minimum terms. Every month has to earn the next one. If the results stop justifying the invoice, you can stop the invoice.

Need Over Checklist

We do not run a fixed deliverables checklist for the sake of the invoice. What your campaign needs next is what gets done next, agreed with you in the roadmap.

SEO That Grows With Your Business

As rankings build and revenue grows, the campaign expands into adjacent keywords, new service lines, or new markets, without rebuilding from scratch.

Built for AI-First Search

Search answers before it lists now. Every campaign structures your content and entities so AI systems can read and understand your brand, and dedicated AI visibility work is available as an add-on when you want to push harder.

SEO Plans & Pricing

How Much Do Managed SEO Services Cost?

No setup fees No lock-in, month to month You own every asset, always Every plan runs the same 90-day sequence
The direct answer: Typical agency retainers run $1,500 to $5,000 a month. Ours start at $499. The difference is structure, not standards. We are a specialist search team, not a full-service shop, so you are not funding a sales floor, a media department, or three layers of account staff between you and the person doing the work. Senior strategists direct every campaign, decisions are made in hours instead of meetings, and the budget goes into strategy and execution rather than overhead. That is why a smaller number still buys serious work.

Why hold links back for two months?

Because a link pointed at a slow, badly structured, or thin page buys almost nothing. Your first two months put that money into fixes and content instead, so that when authority starts flowing it lands on pages built to convert it. Nothing is lost in the wait. The technical and content work in months 1 and 2 is worth more than an equivalent number of early links, and it is usually where the first ranking movement comes from.

On backlinks

Why we quote a range, never a fixed count

Because the right mix changes month to month. Some keywords call for a fresh guest post. Others move faster with a placement inside an established, indexed article, and the two cost differently. A range lets your budget chase the strongest opportunities available that month instead of filling a quota.

Fresh guest post Placement in an established article Different cost, different month

Fixed budget. Flexible firepower.

Same invoice every month. Different mix inside it.

  • The plan describes your campaign’s normal shape, not a promise of identical months forever.
  • Early months lean technical. Later ones pour into content and authority, because that is what your rankings need by then.
  • We may propose trading one deliverable for another when a keyword calls for it. Your approval first, always, and the invoice never moves.

Frequently Asked Questions

The service itself

What is included in managed SEO services?

Managed SEO services cover every discipline that decides your rankings under one plan: an SEO audit and market research, keyword strategy scored on purchase intent, on-page optimization, technical SEO and Core Web Vitals, content creation, editorial link building, Google Business Profile management where locations apply, and monthly performance reporting with a call. Content and entity structure are also built so AI systems can read your brand correctly, and dedicated AI visibility work covering AI Overviews and AI assistants is available as a 30 percent add-on to any plan. One team runs all of it under one strategy, so nothing falls between vendors.

What does the technical SEO work actually involve?

The routine baseline covers site speed and Core Web Vitals, mobile usability, crawlability and indexation, XML sitemaps and robots directives, site architecture and internal link structure, redirect and broken link cleanup, duplicate content and canonical handling, structured data and schema markup, HTTPS and security basics, plus Search Console error monitoring. Treat that as the standing checklist every site gets. Beyond it, whatever your audit turns up gets fixed too: JavaScript rendering problems, faceted navigation eating your crawl budget, bloated page templates, migration damage, or anything else specific to your build.

What does the on-page and content work involve?

On-page routine work covers title tags and meta descriptions, heading structure, keyword mapping so no two pages compete for the same term, content depth against what currently ranks, internal linking into your priority pages, image optimization and alt text, and conversion elements so the visitor who lands knows what to do next. Content work covers the topical map, pillar and cluster planning, new articles and landing pages, rewrites of thin or outdated pages, and refreshes of pages that have slipped. As with technical, this is the baseline rather than the ceiling. If your pages need something else to compete, that goes on the roadmap.

What kind of backlinks will I get?

Editorial placements on topically relevant sites, acquired through manual outreach. Depending on your industry and the keywords you need to move, each month’s mix combines guest posts written fresh for a relevant publication and link insertions placed inside established articles that are at least six months old and indexed by Google. Never directories, never link farms, never private blog networks. Every placement is recorded for you: the domain, the anchor, and the reason it was chosen. What we commit to is the standard behind each link, never a promise about someone else’s traffic.

Why is the number of backlinks a range and not a fixed count?

Because a fixed quota quietly becomes the enemy of quality. A single placement on a strong, well-established page can outweigh several average guest posts, and the effort and cost of placement differ from site to site. A range lets your budget chase the strongest opportunities available for your keywords that month instead of filling a number. When the month brings rich options, you land at the top of the range. What never changes is the standard each link has to clear before it is pursued.

What happens if I add the AI visibility option?

Adding AI visibility for 30 percent more extends the same campaign into AI search. The routine work covers a baseline of how ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and AI Overviews currently answer questions in your market and who they quote instead of you, entity and schema structuring so those systems describe your brand accurately, answer-formatted content built around the questions buyers actually ask, and re-checks as those AI answers shift. Nobody can promise you a citation, and we will not pretend otherwise. What we can do is build the structure and authority those systems draw from. If AI search is your primary goal rather than an addition, our separate AEO / GEO program goes considerably deeper than this add-on.

Plans, scope and commitment

How many keywords and pages will my plan cover?

Plans are set by keywords: Traction targets a priority set of up to 10, Momentum up to 20, Dominance up to 40, and a Custom Plan goes well beyond that. Pages follow from there. We work on the pages that carry your priority keywords, and because one page usually carries several keywords, the page count sorts itself out. On Traction that is typically a small group of core pages; on larger plans it widens as the keyword set grows. If you need a specific number of pages handled, say so and we will scope it directly rather than leave you guessing. Plan choice also follows your competition rather than your site size, so a five-page site in a competitive market often belongs on Dominance while a larger site in a quiet niche does well on Traction.

Can I change my plan later?

Any month. Move up when a plan stops keeping pace with your ambitions, or ease down for a stretch when budget demands it. There is no penalty, no renegotiation, and no restarting the strategy from scratch, because the keyword map and the work already done carry straight over. Tell your account manager before the next cycle begins and the roadmap is rebuilt at the new level.

What if I only want to run for a month or two?

You can, and there is no lock-in stopping you. Be clear about what you would be buying, though: the first two months are foundation work, so you would collect the audit, the strategy, the technical fixes, and the early content, then stop right before the compounding begins. That is a fair purchase if what you want is a fixed site and a plan you can execute yourself later, and everything created stays yours. If that is the goal, the one-time Website SEO Audit is often the better value. If the goal is rankings, budget for the campaign to reach full pace and run past it.

Can I pause my SEO campaign and come back later?

Yes. There is no lock-in, every link stays live, and everything built stays yours. Two honest notes, though. SEO compounds, so consecutive months move faster than interrupted ones, and after a pause it usually takes a cycle to rebuild momentum, because your competitors kept publishing while you waited. If budget is the reason, scaling down to a lighter month usually protects your gains far better than a full stop. Tell us what is happening and we will shape the plan around it.

Timing and results

When does each part of the work actually start?

Month one is the audit, the written strategy, priority technical fixes, and on-page work on your key pages. Month two turns on the content engine: topical mapping, the first published content, and rewrites of thin pages. From month three the campaign runs at full pace, and that is when the monthly content and backlink figures on each plan apply. Backlinks are deliberately held back for the first two months, because a link pointed at a slow or thin page buys very little. That money goes into fixes and content first, so authority lands on pages built to convert it.

What should I expect from managed SEO month to month?

Expect a fixed rhythm. The month’s agreed work is delivered inside 30 days. Your report is written in the next 3 to 5 working days, and a performance call is scheduled whenever suits you. Then the next month’s roadmap is agreed before it begins. The work itself moves in phases: the first month leans on the audit and technical repair, the second builds the content engine through topical authority mapping, and from the third month editorial backlinks push authority at the pages that matter. The mix shifts to whatever moves your rankings next. The rhythm never does.

How long does SEO take to produce results?

It depends on what your site needs most. If your biggest problem is technical, fixes can move rankings within four to six weeks, because Google re-crawls and re-evaluates quickly. If your biggest problem is authority and content, improvement compounds over three to six months. We tell you in the first 30 days which category your site falls into and what a realistic first milestone looks like for your situation.

What if my rankings are not improving?

We flag it before you do. Every campaign has defined milestones at 30, 60, and 90 days. If a keyword cluster is not moving by the expected milestone, we document why, revise the approach, and present the adjustment before the next month begins. SEO is not always linear, but stagnation always has a diagnosable cause. We find it and fix it rather than waiting for you to ask.

Is this right for us

Do I need an SEO agency, or can my in-house team handle this?

An in-house team can absolutely run SEO, provided someone owns keyword research, technical audits, content strategy, and link acquisition consistently rather than in bursts between other priorities. That is four skill sets, and it is where most in-house efforts stall. The honest question is not whether your team could do it. It is whether those hours are worth more spent elsewhere, and whether the work will still be happening in month five when something more urgent lands. Plenty of our clients keep SEO in-house and use us for the parts their team cannot cover.

Do you work with grey niches?

Yes. CBD and hemp, vape, crypto and Web3, iGaming and betting affiliates, adult-adjacent brands, supplements, firearms accessories and similar restricted markets are all workable, and we have handled the type of scrutiny they attract. The approach changes rather than the standard. Placement options are narrower, so outreach is more selective and takes longer; claims and compliance language get reviewed carefully, especially for anything health related; and the content leans harder on genuine expertise, because these markets are held to a higher bar. Tell us your niche and we will tell you plainly what is realistic before you commit.

Is SEO still relevant now that AI Overviews are answering searches?

More relevant than before, for a specific reason: AI Overviews pull from pages Google already trusts. A page with strong topical authority, clean technical structure, and credible backlinks is better positioned to be surfaced and cited by AI results, and it still earns the organic clicks underneath them. The businesses exposed by AI search are usually the ones that never built that foundation in the first place. Nobody can promise you a citation, but the groundwork that earns one is the same groundwork that ranks. When you want to push harder on it, dedicated AI visibility work is available as an add-on to any plan.
